A good graphic tee should look great after months of wear. Most print damage comes from washing mistakes, and they are easy to avoid.

Wash it inside out
Turning the tee inside out protects the print from rubbing against other clothes and the drum.
Use cold or lukewarm water
Hot water can crack prints and shrink cotton. Cold water is gentle and does the job.
Choose a mild detergent
Skip bleach and harsh stain removers. They fade colours and weaken the print.
Skip the hot dryer
Dry in the shade, flat or on a hanger. Direct sun can fade dark colours and heat can damage the print.
Iron carefully
If you must iron, turn the tee inside out and use low heat. Never press directly on the print.
Store it well
Fold heavier tees instead of hanging them for long periods, so the neckline keeps its shape.

Take care of it and your tee will keep looking fresh. Need a new one? See what is in the THE X WEAR shop.
